My mission is to call forth voices, and I work with solid and grounded indigenous-based, embodied elemental ritual and shamanic practices. I've been fortunate to receive training from recognized high quality teachers. I believe everyone has a wild genius inside of them that is meant to contribute to community. If you are at a moment when you need to connect to the deep wild of your soul, welcome, this is meant for you.
Expressing your wild voice
Indigenous people knew that all voices, including the non-human voices of nature and spirit, need expression in community for the whole to be balanced. This is what the age old language of ritual is designed to do, and it still works as a "technology of community" in the modern world.
The mythic world
Ritual and myth are meant to be inseparable, and a connecting link to the wisdom of ancestors, allowing an updating of traditional information into the current situation of culture. Storytelling is a doorway to the ancient skill of calling for the voices of the ancestors to guide us in the present.
Ritual gatherings work within a focussed topic determined by the call of the community while calling in the elemental forces of the elements. Fire, the one looking through time, Water, the healer, Earth, homecoming Queen, Mineral, the department of life purpose and structure, and Nature, the caretaker of transformation.
What to expect
Attending a ritual means taking time for you to express your gifts along with your griefs, to share both your medicine and your troubles, to arrive in that too-rare location of being welcomed and noticed by yourself, a community of like-hearted people, and to take a journey our ancestors took regularly, a visit to the world of myth, ancestors, and the spirits of nature.
